Manages projects in the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) and provides budget analysis, estimating, bidding, contract administration, construction management and post-construction support processes.
Operates and maintains 97 schools and 10 support facilities with 2,933 acres of campus located throughout the 521 square miles of Loudoun County. These buildings were built from 1911 to the present.
Provides project and program management support across Support Services and oversees efforts that require coordination across the school division, including Facility Use, Distribution Center, Administration Building Operations, and the Property Improvement Review Team.
Develops student enrollment projections, facilitates the school attendance zone change process, prepares the Capital Improvement Program (CIP), coordinates school site acquisition, and provides demographic and geographic information relating to Loudoun's public school population.
Responsible for hazard communication, disposal of hazardous waste, occupational safety training and personal protective equipment management, and management of indoor air quality, asbestos, radon, drinking water, and wastewater programs.
