The portal will open on February 1, 2024. Registration appointments will be scheduled by the schools starting on March 1, 2024. Please make sure to select the correct school year during your pre-registration application. A child may enter kindergarten if they turn five on or before September 30th of the year they enter school. The age requirement is set by Virginia law and LCPS is unable to make any exceptions.
